A built-in wall runs across the middle of a room, dividing it into two. A large transparency between two panes of glass is mounted in a window opening in this wall; it shows an empty store window covered by a large curtain, and the reflection of some houses on the opposite side of the street. The transparency of the image means that the space behind it is also visible and appears like a reflection. Although it looks identical to the front space, the space behind the transparent image can neither be accessed nor used.
