"Foxy Lady" is an ironic provocation. In the exhibition, painter Frank Nitsche gathers 11 female artists under the name of a Jimi Hendrix song and turning relationships from head to toe. Hendrix's iconic male projection transforms into a vortex of images and objects, a dialogue of independent solitaires. The artist as curator withdraws art from curatorial theses. Foxy Lady leaves pop history and speaks for itself.
